ALC is a national nonprofit land conservation organization based in San Francisco. I provided art direction and graphical assistance for communications collateral such as ALC’s newsletters and their website. I wrote, edited and fact-checked grant applications. I managed grant report administration and write-ups. I researched, assessed and tracked prospective funding sources including foundations, major donors and corporate sponsors. I provided initial recommendations for and led the implementation of the organization's first and second comprehensive donor database systems. I also developed membership and annual campaign strategies and helped plan donor events.

Salon is a progressive online news and culture magazine. I contributed concept and copy for several marketing campaigns designed to expand readership, delivering reports and detailed analyses of results. I designed all ad campaigns and other collateral materials in Flash, HTML, Illustrator and Photoshop. I stepped up as PR Liaison for the inaugural Salon cruise, coordinating and managing an intensive week-long event for political guests and speakers.

IES is a small research group that seeks to enrich America's understanding of Europe. I oversaw the production of semesterly e-newsletters, writing a majority of the articles and coordinating/editing other contributions. I implemented a complete redesign of the 100+ page department website. I also managed all printed materials for department, from conference posters and programs to their 60+ page
annual report.

PS&T is an umbrella department that houses Parking & Transportation, the UC Police Department and the Office of Emergency Preparedness. I maintained the department’s 260+-page website, developing and reorganizing large sections. I managed a variety of printed and promotional materials. I also served as Community Outreach Coordinator for UC Berkeley's Cal Day and Welcome Week events.
